Use your TrueFire Gourmet® Cedar Planks this summer for a dessert that makes a great end do a delicious planked meal.
2-3 ripe mangoes peeled and sliced with pits removed
3 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 scoop vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (optional)
In a small bowl, mix raspberries, lime juice and sugar until pureed. Marinade mangoes in mixture, then arrange on plank.
Place plank on grill with medium heat for approximately 8 minutes until mangoes are warm and tender but not overdone.
Place mangoes onto plates and drizzle more raspberry mixture on top. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if you please.
