pizzaThink outside the box! Use your True Fire Gourmet Cedar Grilling Plank to cook a wood fired pizza right in your grill!

Basic pizza dough or 1 – 14 ounce can pizza dough
1/4 cup olive oil
2 chopped garlic cloves
6 ounce fresh mozzarella, cut into ¼ inch slices
1 large tomato, cut into ¼ inch slices
3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
2 cedar grilling planks , soaked (minimum 2 hours)


Mix olive oil and chopped garlic let stand for an hour; for better flavor mix the night before.
Preheat grill to 350° F. Divide dough in half and roll out halves into 15 x 6 inch ovals. Place dough on well oiled grill grates and grill for 3 minutes per side. Remove dough from grill.
Brush grilled dough with garlic and olive oil mixture. Top each pizza with evenly with cheese, tomato and basil.
Place soaked planks on grill, close lid and heat for 3 minutes. Flip planks using tongs and place pizzas on hot planks. Close lid and cook for 15-20 minutes or until cheese melts and tomatoes soften. Remove pizzas from grill, cut into slices and serve immediately.
